A few days ago I watched someone review what he considers to be the worst Simpson's Halloween special, which I haven't seen but after seeing the review I've officially decided that everything in the series is no longer canon since after the movie.

The Treehouse of Horror specials don't usually get reviewed much, so the review was interesting but quite painful. They had a part where Homer get s bitten by a spider, mistaking it for a Halloween decoration, and he becomes completely paralyzed and can't move or speak. Then he learns to communicate by farting. :eew:

Maybe the older Simpsons were all killed and replaced by the modern ones, I don't know. But what I do know that when a cartoon that originally rarely had fart jokes starts having fart jokes and acts like it's ripping off Family Guy, the proverbial comedy well has gone dry. :(
