Usually that has genetic causes: family history of going grey early. Occasionally it may be from stress though.

Vitamin deficiency can also cause greys, especially if you're lacking B12.

My best friend(also autistic) has had gray hairs for two years now, he's presently 18.

I got that at 28. Don't think it's deficiencies as I've experimented with just about every vitamin and mineral out there in the last couple years and more grey hairs are still appearing. I did have a very stressful upbringing.

I'm turning grey now, but at 63 I suppose that can be expected.

Mid 30s is typical for what I guess to be the ethnic makeup of this forum. It would be higher if there were more blacks and Asians but I believe they are minorities here.

I'm 22 and my front hairline is already receding and my crown hair close to disappearing.

Could just be genetic.

I was also 34 when someone first noticed grey in my hair

Yeah me too.

I'm gonna start dying my hair. I'll do it over the holidays so if it goes wrong no one at work will know ;)

Most of the grey is round my temples.

Around 20 years ago, I noticed that my hair was starting to go quite thin and also was going very gray to white. At the time I began taking a supplement called Juvenon. I took it primarily because I had severe asthma and this product instantly improved my lung function. I had over a 100 point increase in my peak flow meter readings. So after 20 years I continue to take the product. It was originally marketed as an anti-aging supplement. It's design is to restore the mitochondria in the cells. It contains Acetyl L-Carnitine and Alpha Lipoic Acid. Anyways it has a side benefit that I didn't expect. First it stopped my loss of hair and second it dramatically slowed the graying process.

Generally this is a product that is bought over the internet. It is a cellular health supplement.
