One thing that should be remembered: in the 1950s, there were conservative Democrats and liberal Republicans. The "Dixiecrats" were certainly not into "PC" sorts of things....

Of course not. That was the age when white men in this country had all the power instead of most of it. They weren't at all interested in being 'PC' by not hurting the feelings of non-whites or women.

I think the difference between Democrats and Republicans is that the Dems' standards are too high and the Repub's standards aren't high enough.

From what I have gathered from the poor white rednecks back in Georgia they all basically think he's going to make America a rich country due to the fact he himself is rich (yeah a greedy rich guy will help the poor get rich too, dat logic...), and they praise him for wanting to punish the 'illegal immigrants', 'muslim terrorists', and 'black criminals'.

He is not politically correct.

It is not so much they think he is going to make things better as much as it is he upsets elite snobs that look down on them. In other words Schadenfreude. How else to account for the endless amount of videos making fun of Hillary was going to win predictions, shocked reactions to Hillary losing, etc.

There is a certain amount of since we're doomed to the deep state conspiracy anyways, there is nothing to lose might so we might as well destroy as much as we can, put as many roadblocks as we can, upset as many people as we can before the inevitable.

That's not a good thing.
