I have a body temperature of 35.5

I think people who have lower body temperatures are more likely to develop depression.

Has your doctor checked your thyroid hormone levels? Low levels can make you cold.

I've had this problem since I was a child. Can children have thyroid issues? It gets worse in winter. I feel weak and get easily depressed.

I also noticed saunas, warm weather and hot baths have a positive effect on my mental health. Therefore, I suspect there is a connection between low body temperature and depression.

You should probably get that checked out. I went through a brief phase where 38 was the norm for me; I practically lived at the indoor ice rink that summer and thankfully it ended and things got back to normal.

It had a mental effect for me, too. I had to be doing something productive or creative nonstop and all I wanted to do was run around town. I was hyper to say the least.

Mine was about 33 until I started taking thyroid medication last year. I was always cold. I have more energy now and don’t find the cold as uncomfortable

Side question can the opposite thing happen? When 38 was normal for me, just for a short period of time, I went into a creative frenzy and could not sit still either.
