So this "magical miracle" diet can be summed up with one simple list:

Anchovies, never eat
Artichokes, never eat
Asparagus, sometimes eat
Avocados, never eat
Bananas, often eat
Cabbage, sometimes
Chicken, sometimes
Garlic, sometimes
Kefir, never
Kimchi (or other fermented vegetables, such as turnips, cucumbers or carrots), never
Mackerel, never
Mussels, never
Oats, never
Oysters, never
Pistachios, never
Salmon, once in a while. Love it but $$$
Sauerkraut, never
Spinach, sometimes
Sweet potatoes, used to eat one a day. Now gave it up. Carbs
Tuna. Rarely
Whole grains, sometimes
Wild salmon, never
Yogurt
, sometimes

Now, why didn't the OP just do that, instead of posting a clickbait link?

And I am still clinically depressed

Funnily enough, after feeling blue for the last two weeks, I just went shopping and ended up with (amongst other items): smoked salmon, mussels, pistachios, coleslaw - none of which I usually eat but which are all on that list.
Just got to listen to your gut, folks.

I don't eat most of that food & I bet I'd be depressed if I was forced to eat it due to eating food I hate.

Upon further digging (I won't call it 'research'), I've determined that the article cited in the OP was a thinly-veiled pitch for the Mediterranean Diet. This alone negates any claims as to its efficacy for relieving symptoms of depression.

Your results may vary, of course.

I'll stick with my hot-fudge sundaes and chocolate brownies as mood elevators, thank you very much!

:D

Well, I don't know if it was the mussels or the placebo effect, but I am feeling a bit better today :)
