Not this s**t again. Liberals can be as racist as anyone, but our party embraced civil rights and your's opposed it, deal with it. Blacks don't vote Republican in any significant numbers. I think Trump got 8%.

Virginia AG says he wore blackface at college party

RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — Virginia sank deeper into political turmoil Wednesday when another top Democrat — Attorney General Mark Herring — admitted putting on blackface in the 1980s, when he was a college student.

With Gov. Ralph Northam’s career in extreme peril over a racist photo in his 1984 medical school yearbook, Herring issued a statement saying he wore brown makeup and a wig in 1980 to look like a rapper during a party as a 19-year-old at the University of Virginia.

Herring, 57, said he was “deeply, deeply sorry for the pain that I cause with this revelation.”

The attorney general issued the statement after rumors of a blackface photo of Herring had circulated at the Capitol for a day or more. But in his statement, he said nothing about the existence of such a photo.

The disclosure further roils the top levels of Virginia government. Democratic Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, who would be next in line if Northam resigned, was confronted with uncorroborated allegations of sexual misconduct earlier this week. He denied the accusations, calling them a political smear.

Herring would be next in line to be governor after Fairfax.

2. Then he said he wasn't sure it was him.
3. Then he denied it was him.
4. Now he admits it was him again.
5. Now he's saying he dressed up as a "black 80s music rapper".

However, that costume does not look like a music rapper.

Let's see, the governor was in blackface or a Klan robe, the lt. governor is rapey, the atty. general is also in blackface ... are they going to run out of people in the line of succession pretty soon? I'd like to inform the good people of Virginia that I stand ready to serve.

The National Organization for Women (NOW) called on Virginia lieutenant governor Justin Fairfax to resign Wednesday in response to the sexual assault allegation leveled against him earlier this week.

“Dr. Vanessa Tyson has made the brave decision to come forward and reveal in her own words what happened between her and Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax during the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. Her story is horrifying, compelling and clear as day – and we believe her,” NOW president Toni Van Pelt said in a statement.

Hmm, I'm getting mixed results when searching for the percentage of black voters that voted for trump. Some are saying 8% while others are saying 36%. That's a huge difference, I wonder why?

Actually, I'm finding many mixed results. One claiming that while he only had 8% of blacks that voted for him while 37% current approval.
