Why do people never say this? People say this about evolution and climate change, but never about vaccines causing autism.

Because "Vaccines Cause Autism" is not a theory.

It is an outright lie.

Saying that vaccines cause autism is a just a theory is like saying jumping off a tall building and flapping your will make you fly like a bird is just a theory.

I don't think it's a theory. I think that it's a lie made up by a very blood thirsty man.

Oh shoot, I left out the word "arms" in my last post. Must be because I was vaccinated.

Because the anti-vaxxers think EVERYTHING wrong with a person now is because they were vaccinated. Your kid still wets the bed? Vaccinated. Scored a 97 instead of 100 on a test? Vaccinated. Are they nearsighted? Didn't speak in complete and clear sentences by 8 months? Vaccinated. Didn't cut their own umbilical cord right after they were born? Well, they couldn't have been vaccinated, but since it's a good chance their mother was and since newborns are supposed to have inherited some of their mother's immunity (which later weakens), they'll probably blame that on it too.

That theory is probably apart of a depopulation agenda.

“Autistics are highly susceptible to propaganda”.

Is that just a theory too? I’m thinking; “No. That is a fact.”

Because otherwise, why would anyone believe that:

-Viral antigens (or engineered antigen replicas), combined with a chemical adjuvant for the purpose of stimulating an immune response ... Is irrelevant to a condition such as Autism; that is known to be caused by an atypical immune response to viral antigens?

-Especially given that susceptibility for adverse events following an immune response is determined by genetics.

-Which would, of course; satisfy the “environmental agent” component necessary for the determination of Autism as a multifactorial genetic condition.

What else could it possibly be that would cause autistics, who are prone to hyper-cognitive abilities; to believe anything other than that vaccines cause Autism?

I suppose they don’t necessarily “cause” Autism ... We have caused our own Autism by having the audacity to be born with certain genetic variants that cause atypical immune responses to vlral antigens that we are just coincidentally exposed to in an atypical manner.

:?

Ever heard of Occam’s Razor? The Law of Parsimony?

It is the problem-solving principle that the simple solution is more likely to be correct than the complex one & that when multiple hypotheses to solve a problem have been proposed; one should select the solution with the fewest assumptions.

My hypothesis to the problem as to why autistics do not understand that vaccines are causing Autism; is that autistics must be vulnerable to propaganda. There is no other plausible answer.

No, it is a bogus claim.

Evidence, please?

Correct. You should, however, choose assumptions that are validated multiple times by expert peer-group review, and not by a soft-core porn star with no medical background whatsoever or a discredited and de-licensed ex-medical practitioner who defrauded the global medical establishment with his deceptive practices.

Hypotheses are testable. Your claim is not.

As is any other identifiable group of people who have little or no real understanding of Occam's Razor as it is applicable to the Scientific Method.

There is no other plausible answer than yours to those who are obsessed with conspiracy theories with "Big Pharma" at the focus.

"Vaccines Cause Autism" is a bogus claim, in that no valid empirical evidence has ever been presented to support it.

Andrew Jeremy Wakefield is a discredited former British doctor who became an anti-vaccine activist. He was a gastroenterologist until he was struck off the UK medical register for unethical behavior, misconduct and dishonesty. In 1998 he was the lead author of a fraudulent research paper falsely claiming that there was a link between the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine and autism and bowel disease.

Jenny McCarthy is a former Playboy model who was later named their Playmate of the Year. McCarthy then parlayed her Playboy fame into a television and film acting career. She has no known degrees in Science or Medicine, and simply asserts her claims on the sole basis of her personality.

ha ha, norms the "depopulation agenda," that's just a theory for the tin foil hat brigade.

Some anti-vaxxers think vaccines also make you gay. It's nice to know there are still plenty of homophobes in the world. Not.

Sorry, I should have written a better response to that. I must have been in a really bad mood. I've got a family member who is heavily into conspiracy theories and it irks me.

There's a thing Bill Gates said that got misunderstood. He said something about vaccines helping decrease the population.

He meant in freeing people from disease and thus poverty, people would have a better education, better standard of living, access to contraception etc and therefore have less children to struggle to support. Not that vaccines would kill folks or that the elite want to kill off the commoners.

Evolution & climate change are theories like gravity is. Vaccines causing autism is NOT the same type of theory. It's a conspiracy theory like the government covering up the existance of aliens from outer space crashing in Roswell
