Have you ever accidentally dropped your phone on the sidewalk? I did recently in front of a store. The screen is now badly cracked.

I've done it many times, with the same phone. Fortunately somehow I managed only to get a little cosmetic damage to the corners, until one time my dog (75-pound standard poodle) stepped on it before I could pick it up. That badly cracked the screen, but the phone still works fine. I'm very impressed with its durability, considering how clumsy I've been with it. It's a Samsung Galaxy J5, if I remember correctly.

Yes, zero damage. It was a solid aluminum body HTC one.

Many times. That's part of why I have a Lifeproof case on it. It's badly worn out and no longer waterproof, but it still protects from impacts pretty good.

I've tried to be cautious with each of the 4 phones I've owned, but I've dropped each at least once. Luckily, I've never cracked a screen. The one that took the most abuse is also the one that has lasted me the longest, which was the Lumia Icon (929) I had for 3 years before getting my current phone, mainly because the battery was very worn and didn't hold much of a charge. That one actually took a 4 foot fall onto concrete totally unprotected, and only suffered a scratch on the body and a small scratch on the screen.

I never dropped it on the sidewalk but I have dropped it on the floor of my appartment a couple times. 1ce I dropped it on the heater grate & I busted the extended battery I had put in & had to buy another extended battery. I also cracked the camera but it still works fine

Warning! Protect your hearing. If your phone has broken glass, even just a little crack, it needs to be covered. Little pieces of glass are going into your ear each time you use it. Someone just told me this.

same. it happened once. The phone wouldn't work afterwards. I took out the battery and sim card, and then inserted them again, and then it worked fine. There were no cracks.
