What can one say?

He was certainly a .. [cough!]...unique....individual.

During his heyday in the late Eighties his organization had a little public access TV show here on DC area cable TV. I used catch his wife, Helga, or some other acolyte of his, giving their lectures about history. Weaving tales of centuries long conspiracies - all of which trace back to Great Britain. Everything bad that has ever happened in last three centuries somehow traces back to Britain, or to the Jews, or something. But by golly there is hope! Because our leader will soon set everything straight...just as soon as he gets out of jail for tax fraud!

I guess now he wont be here anymore... to rescue us!

He lived a long life.

His ideas were pretty screwy, though.

It's weird he became politically right.

I remember going to jury duty, and Socialists would hand out his pamphlets in front of a courthouse.

Extremists often do that. Go from one extreme to other with out stopping anywhere near the common sense middle in between.

I'm glad I hadn't heard much about him in about 20 years or so.

But I do hope he didn't die with pain.

Well.. at the age of 96 he certainly the right to kick the bucket.

But yeah... I do miss those entertaining tin hatters who spoke for him on our local LaRouche Hour show twenty years ago. Maybe he had a jail house conversion during his stint in white collar IRS prison and choose to keep a low profile after he got out. He may even have to come to his senses about his former flaky beliefs..
