Free jazz? Grindcore? Vaporwave? lowercase?

I've never once heard someone who claims to listen to everything and actually is even aware of just how many musical genres exist. Certainly this would include me when I was naive enough to claim it, and I'm sure I can think of several times more styles/sounds/genres now than I could when I did claim that, and I'm convinced I'm still only aware of the tip of the iceberg that is music.

I am aware of most of those genres actually, and have listened to a bit from them. But admittedly I did mean like the basic fundamental genres that those sib-genres fall under. I do have a lot of free time though, and I am very open-minded. I have a tendency to at least give songs a listen when someone presents them to me. While yes some of the gebres do inevitably get less attention at any given time because of sheer volume, my taste is very broad and shifts a bit from time to time. I have even taken up listening to k-pop recently. Presumably with enough time I'll make it even to some of those niche sub-genres I haven't quite heard of yet. Also I was very excited when I learned that there is at least one band out there that can be classified as swing metal. I'm a sucker for bands that blend multiple genres together, especially when they're combinations you wouldn't quite expect.

That sounds depressing. I'm gonna prescribe some Insane Clown Posse.

Lately I’ve been listening to a lot of Vocaloid. I need to play more Project Diva Future Tone.

Punk pop, and also EDM. I also like singers who are known for their voice, such as Kelly Clarkson.

Cheesy pop, easy listening rock, country and Irish folk music.

By cheesy I mean like the stuff most people are embarrassed to listen to. Even stuff like Toy Box. I don't get the embarrassment - sure it's a bit girly/camp but it's fun.

I hardly know the names for the genres I listen to. I like blues, Celtic, ballads, alternative rock, and whatever the heck Cosmo Sheridan's music is. I'll also have rare fits where I listen to aggressive classical violin music, and I like a few specific movie soundtracks (Coraline, Whisper of the Heart, HTTYD).

If you don't like listening to death rap, well I do.
There's nothing like beautiful music for you to die to.
