Mum's suggested a trip for my birthday to Lisbon next year.

I really want to do it but I have strong light sensitivity.

Is Portugal too bright in May for someone who's got light sensitivity and used to British weather?

(I hate my eyes, this is a really good idea but my eyes will be in pain)

Just looked up Lisbon on Wiki.

May is not as wet with rain fall as winter, but not as dry as the June July and august ( the summer months seem to be a dry season). So its probably moderately cloudy in May. Lisbon is virtually on the same latitude line as my city of Washington DC. So the sun is at the same angle as here. Never heard anyone complain about the sun being too bright here in DC.

Thanks.

They sort of would but I still need sunglasses in the UK, dark ones in winter or summer and grey ones in spring or autumn (autism/light sensitivity).

It sounds like it's UK type weather though so it would be good to go.

Well..its CLIMATE is different than the UK (Mediterranean type climate). But light intensity in the sky would be less bad than in the summer months.
