Trump's proposed wall is too expensive anyway to cover the entire Mexican border. More likely it will end up (assuming it's ever financed) looking like the Israeli walls (barrier) along the west bank which is a mix of walls and barbed wire.

If you watch the TV series called "Mayans" about a Mexican motorcycle gang there appear to be existing tunnels that cris-cross the border area anyway so a wall is really just a band aid.

Apparently. EzraS doesn’t seem to comprehend that his localized observation is not representative of the big picture.

You're the one suffering a comprehention problem.

And funny that you consider a report of insect population within a German wildlife park or a trout shortage in an area of Scotland et al as representing the big picture.

There are several localized studies to cite from various corners of the Earth, but overall wildlife populations are down an average of 60% across the board over the last few decades, worldwide, and that is significant.

"That grim figure comes from the Living Planet Report 2018, published today by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)."

Is "fund" the keyword?

I take that you've researched WWF and read about the controversies and disputes etc.

And that you are aware that report has been "greatly mischaracterized"?

Funny reading how ineffective it will be along with how it will prevent wildlife from migrating.

Most animals don’t have opposable thumbs and thus cannot erect ladders or easily dig tunnels.

Ah so extraordinary measures have to be taken. Sounds like a good deterrent.

It will be ineffective for both wildlife and humans.
