I hope it is enforced and enforced consistently. I am not confident any of those things will happen.

Neither am I. Trump is mostly only interested in protecting free speech that favors him.

Trump has signed this order to specifically protect conservative student associations.

These associations want to talk openly on campuses on issues like no taxes for the rich, get rid of welfare for the poor, get rid of healthcare benefits, increase prison sentences and death penalty and of course argue against LGBTQI, non-white immigrants and black civil rights.

Currently these spoilt brats get threatened to have their teeth broken so Trump wants to make sure they have the right to walk around campus attacking minority groups.

Even if that is true though, is the free speech of others under threat? If not, then it won't matter either way.

And since threats of violence are perfectly legal and acceptable, there isn't a problem here, right? Or is it only okay to threaten people whose opinions you don't like?
