Notifications. Again.

So, this came up before, but I have a problem with notifications. Sometimes I get them, sometimes I don't get them at all, sometimes they get delayed - as much as one week after the post was made

This is not an issue related to my profile settings, browser, mail etc.

I know the mods here have no power to fix such things, what I would really appreciate is a clear answer: is anybody considering or planning to do anything about this kind of stuff or should I just get it through my thick skull that this is the situation and if I want to use the forum I'll just have to put up with this and the rest of the technical issues the forum has?

Pretty much the answer I was expecting

This forum has had a lot of glitches for a very long time that's caused lots of members to leave & your the only member I know of having your issue so I think you'd just have to learn to tolerate it.
