No I am not ashamed of myself, I am a tolerant, open -hearted person, who's family was totally wiped out in the holocaust because they believed that human nature is inherently good and ignored the warning signs. So yes, when Powell says that Israel controls the US it smacks of inferrence to the jewish conspiracy theory. My apologies if this is my misconception but Israel itself is completely dependent on the US for funding, not much power there, so did you mean the jews control the U.S? Sincerely hope not. Antisemitism is on the rise make no mistake, often disguised as anti-zionist. You may attack specific Israeli policies but arguing conspiracy is very dangerous ground IMO.

I am Israeli, I have Palestinian friends and students. I promote peace. I am not ashamed. My country has not had one day's peace in 70 years of existence yet we win Nobel prizes, have revolutionize medicine, agriculture and technology. We don't look back we look forward. We bear no resentment for the past only optimism for a better future. There are Palestinian judges in Israel, Members of Knesset, policemen, doctors, heads of hospital departments, the Chief Moderator for the Israeli elections is arab, and some Palestinian arabs serve in the IDF voluntarily. Our neighbors though have only plagued the region with war, genocide and destruction.

There are people on this site of all nationalities. We are here to help each other cope with autism worldwide through this challenging, daunting life. It is an awesome effort to connect people in need.Please let's refrain from attacking each others ethnicities and politics, there are many platforms for that elsewhere.

Whoah, my kids are in the IDF please don't go there. She is my country, I live in Israel. I have lived through her many wars and conflicts, my kids fight for her existence daily on our borders, sure I will defend her. I think politics should be avoided on WP. I will not read these threads anymore and they should be moderated more efficiently IMO so not to be so volatile and offensive. I wish you peace, to you and the entire world.
