So...my opinion just started a war. I’m just going by my experiences with guys who don’t have tattoos. Tattoos are the norm nowadays. This really proves that my stuffed animals contain more happiness than dating.

No war here.

You dig tattoos. I respect that.

I have no problem with that. That's your choice.

I don't mind tatts either. Some guys suit them and some guys don't, depending on their style. My brother and nephew have them, and it's not a big deal.

I certainly wouldn't say it's "the norm", even though they're fairly common in your age group.

I'm very slim for my height. And a lifetime of chronic illness and the prescription drugs used to treat them have rather worn away my libido.
... otherwise you're spot on!

I've got one on my arm, I've no evidence to say it either attracts or repels anyone.

At least I've never had my face slapped for telling a woman that she has "nice tatts".

I'd never get a tattoo done in a million years, and find it difficult to have any sympathy for those who do; I certainly couldn't bring myself to be physically attracted to them.

None of the men I ever felt attracted to had any tatoo I knew of.

I don't want a tatoo myself (I change my taste far too often to get something as permanent as a tatoo) so maybe it's just about preference for similarity.

All my kids have tattoos ( in their late thirties, 2 girls 1 boy). My romantic interest has full size angel wings tattooed on his back, that's pretty cool, but he's much younger than I am.

I love young men with tattoos it's really macho and sexy to me. Almost everyone in my country, in all socio- economic sectors (except ultra religious) have at least one, most have several including women.

I don't though think that the few men I know who have no interest in tattoos are any less attractive.
In my country the men are pretty confident and fit. I like people who don't follow the herd mindlessly. It shows a healthy sense of self.

We are going to have all these tattooed geriatrics in the future, walking around with these open back gowns with their walkers, flashing scorpions and fairies on their butts. What a hoot!

I can go either way. I'm not a fan of lots of tattoos if any tattoos. My first boyfriend got terrible home job tattoos on his thighs while we were together. (Which he horrifyingly dropped his jeans once to show my father, who hates tattoos. )
I don't have tattoos myself, but I probably would get a small meaningful one someday.

I have observed that women who have lots of tattoos themselves, mainly only like or date guys who also have lots of tattoos - perhaps a common interest thing?

I personally am not a fan of tattoos but I'm willing to overlook them in others as long as their whole body isn't covered. Porn stars who have a few smallish tats can still turn me on & I'm not bothered but the 1s who have their whole bodies covered turn me off. I probably would of dated a girl who had her whole body covered if she was interested in me when I was single & i'm sure I would of grown to overlook them, not be bothered by them, or maybe even like them on her but noone else.
