I understand that mania isn't always the fun kind, it can present itself with anxiety and psychosis. But for those who've experienced the euphoric type before, how did it interact with ur aspie symptoms? Did ur eye contact improve? Were u able to pick up social cues better? Did u stim less?

I found this study which looks very interesting regarding the inducing of hypomania to help ASD symptoms, what are ur thoughts?

I'm still undiagnosed but I do have bipolar and have had hypomania. One of my stims is biting my fingernails. When I was hypomanic I quit doing this and my nails were growing long. Hypomania feels good, but in me it leads to a full-blown mania with psychosis.

I got more work done, often with a breakthrough in development. This did not involve dealing with people.
