Has anyone done this? What are your opinions? Similarities to CBT?

My ASD therapist uses DBT but I've only seen her three times. We're still having introductory discussions and she's helping me find OT for SPD, etc. (We also lost a whole session because of The Waif :( ) I'll message you more when I see how DBT works for my selective mutism and alexithymia but I don't know if those can be undone.

DBT does have better success with autistic patients than most forms of therapy. CBT has a notoriously high failure rate.

Thanks Isabella. I'll be anxious to hear more the further along you get.

I've yet to schedule my next appointment, but of course I'll spill all.
