How long does it take to get an email notification for a PM?

I’m a little puzzled because I got emails this morning notifying me about PMs that must be from last night because I didn’t have any new PMs this morning.

Are the notifications slow?

I get the notifications rite after I get the PMs. Is it possible the sender could of deleted the PM after they sent it before you checked :? Users do have the ability to delete PMs after they're sent before the recipient has read them.
