Reactions To Kodi Lee on America's Got Talent
I loved Kodi Lee's performance on America's Got Talent. However, I can see why people take issue with the way some people have responded to it.
I wrote a brief blog post about the reactions to Kodi Lee on America's Got Talent. I say that videos original title that he "defeated Autism and Blindness With Music" was worthy of criticism.

I finally saw the video.
There was a lot of talk on the video about this being a “historic” moment. I hope but doubt it is true that the performance will prove to people that people with multiple disabilities can be exceptionally talented and happy. If that happens the offensiveness of the inspiration porn reactions would be worth it but otherwise it was another excuse for virtue signaling.
That said Kodi himself was overjoyed so who are we to s**t on his moment because we are offended?

The original title of defeating autism is bad. But your link also references what is described as inspiration porn
The blog you linked to also links to an article criticizing the reaction to Kodi's performance as inspiration porn.
People Are Celebrating Kodi Lee On ‘America’s Got Talent’ For The Wrong Reasons The disability community and advocates say the talented musician, who’s blind and autistic, is being turned into inspiration porn.

Yes, people don't like to be called out when they see someone with a disability as inspiration porn.

Kodi Lee, Singing Phenom Who Is Blind and Has Autism, 22, Wins America's Got Talent Season 14
Then in the semifinals, Lee brought many to tears with his rendition of Calum Scott’s “You Are the Reason.” For his final bow on the show, he sang Freya Ridings’ “Lost Without You” in the finals. On finale night, Lee performed “You Are the Reason” again, this time alongside Leona Lewis.
