I’m curious to those of us who love books, do you have a favorite author(s)? Mine would have to be: Banana Yoshimoto, Karen Kingsbury, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Jane Austen, Roald Dahl (I heart Matilda!) and many others!!:) I’d love to read what others enjoy to read!!:)

I really like Joanne Harris and J. R. R. Tolkien's style. Also Philip K. Dick.

Orson Scott Card, John Flanagan, and Christopher Paolini are some of my favorite authors. John Flanagan and Christopher Paolini write great characters who try to do the right things in the face of difficulties. Awesome action sequences, cool battle tactics, and wonderful writing in general. I HIGHLY recommend the Ranger's Apprentice series and the Inheritance cycle.

I should have added Conrad to my list. I also do like O'Conner, though I've read only a couple of her stories.

Should of added Vonnegut to my list. Years ago I would have added King, though I honestly haven't read anything by him in years.
