Baptist Sheriff's Detective Demands Death for LGBTQ People.

A Tennessee Sheriff's Detective is under fire after calling for the Bible-based state-sponsored arrest and execution of all LGBTQ people. Detective Grayson Fritts, who is also a pastor at the All Scripture Baptist Church in Knoxville, on Sunday, June 2, delivered a sermon titled "Why Leviticus 20:13 Should Still Be Enforced".

(Leviticus 20:13 (NIV): "If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.")

Detective Fritts says he's "sick of sodomy getting crammed down our throats".

Poor choice of words there, eh?

Given such wording, I suspect that this detective might be “protesting too much.”

Gay people have more heterosexuality crammed down their throats than the other way around.

We should all live by a set of rules that were devised thousands of years ago...

In September 2003, Fritts was one of six officers who opened fire at a suicidal man during a "suicide by cop" encounter, according to court records and Knoxville News Sentinel archives. The man was superficially wounded by one bullet, while the rest of the 28 rounds fired, including six by Fritts, missed the man.

In November, 2009, Fritts was off duty and working private security when he fired twice at a man trying to flee in a car from a Kroger parking lot in Farragut after shoplifting, according to court to a sheriff's office report and Knoxville News Sentinel archives. Fritts missed both times from close range, and the driver sped away, but was later arrested.

Knox County Sheriff's Office Detective Grayson Fritts took a voluntary buyout two weeks ago after giving a hate-laced church sermon that called for the government to arrest and execute members of the LGBTQ community. He is on paid sick leave until the buyout takes effect July 19...

To say the least, we don't need these sorts of people in positions of power.

Too bad he's still a pastor.

It's not all bad... he may be a gun-totin' pastor-sheriff religious bigot guy... but he can't hit a target at close range.

I hope they never pass laws saying it's ok to execute homosexuals. I bet Mike Pence would love to try that if he became president though.

This man resigned from his position back in July I believe. I can only hope he doesn't seek employment at another police department.

That is a good reason to keep the bible out of politics and legislation.

^Are you exactly saying that it's GOD's word to be anti-LGBT? Or was it just said by those who believed in Him, but tend to have a hatred for LGBT people, therefore demonizing them?
