Thoughts on the National Dex Drama?

Personally, I'm disappointed that Pokemon Sword and Shield won't have all Pokemon in it, but I'm still going to buy it just to see what it else it offers. I'm hoping that the pros will outweigh the cons. What does everyone else think?

I think that the drama is stupid. People are being totally unreasonable, and not seeing that the choice is not a big deal. Are people going to in the end think it is a big deal that they cannot use Spinda or something in one game? Do they want completion of the full dex in the game to be almost impossible?
