Abandoning the people of Hong Kong to the fascist thugs in Beijing ("appalling old waxworks", to use HRH Prince Charles's memorable phrase) was Mrs. Thatcher's most shameful action, and there were many.

My brothers wife's mom and dad live in Hong Kong, I feel sorry for them, China is trying to rule over them, and China has to be one of the most corrupt and evil countries in existence. All the billions of people who live there need to rise up and take their country back!

The Chinese I've met, to borrow Huxley's phrase, love their servitude. They seriously believe that they're living in a free, democratic, communist utopia. The power the fascist government of China has over their minds should terrify us all - at least into examining our own unexamined beliefs about the countries where we live.
