I hear it from our social conservative commentators here in Australia that supporters of unions and labor/social/green based political parties are
envious of the wealthy and socialism means increase in taxes to steal from the rich and distribute it to the "unworthy welfare grabbers"
The truth is that economically it probably makes little difference whether the Democrats or the Republicans are running the country. But of course republican type thinking is that the Democrats are seething with commies wanting to steal their money and their guns.
