So in the process of waiting to see if the thrift store will hire me, I've been invited to do a second interview for the Wisconsin zoo AmeriCorps position... 8O

I mean, what if BOTH wanted me? Thrift store so close to where I live now... But Wisconsin has more to do with career path 8O

Nope! No thrift store job for me, they hired another person!! !

I had the zoo Skype interview too. I'll hear a decision on that within two weeks they said.

The zoo position is a 10 1/2 month AmeriCorps at a zoo using zoo animals to teach K-12 programs.

Kindergarten through 12th grade in the US school system. Like 5 year-olds to 18.

Yes, correct danchrist

Actually looking it over, they are hiring 15 more inexperienced interns, and also one more experienced person that mainly works with the animal handling side which lasts longer (year with possibly an extension). The interview was for both.

The humane society was having a sale... A microchipped, fixed, vaccinated, declawed, litter trained cat for $25 dollars!

Dreaming of bigger jobs... I found one directing my home town nature center... But it's probably a little above my head....

What I really need to hear from is the two AmeriCorps positions, both out of state, but now my husband is saying I can't leave and is making me angry...

All he cares about is himself sometimes... He was complaining this month because we didn't have money to get the craft supplies he wanted... Sorry but that's what you get for living on disability, you really don't have enough money for your hobbies :(
