Nigel Farage - man of the people?

Quote:
Everybody is entitled to earn a living, and provided the source of income is legitimate then it is not my place to criticise. However, it is still particularly galling to see the Brexit Party leader continue to portray himself as a man of the people, while raking in the sort of cash that the ordinary working man or woman can only dream of.

Ultimately it is up to the people themselves to decide whether a given politician is 'of the people'.

I don't really wish to give him any publicity so I'm not posting a link but I just this morning read about his latest piece of self-promotion in the European parliament which was utterly ignorant and totally disrespectful and by the same token not at all surprising.

The scary thing is that if matters carry on as they are there is an increasing likelihood that sooner or later he will end up in No.10 and God help us all then.
