George W. Bush spent much of his life in Midland, voluntarily for the most part. I don't think anyone genuinely wants to live in Lake Charles unless they think it would improve their sex life.

I would be real tempted to choose Lake Charles over Midland/Odessa.

I would choose Midland Odessa far ahead of Lake Charles.

In general, my list of worst places to live would probably be longer than my list of good places to live.

Best: Rural or semi-rural. Worst: Big cities.

Best: Semi-desert places. Worst: Anywhere with high humidity.
If you can't be comfortable with an evaporative cooler (swamp cooler), then I don't want to live there.

In that case, 6 feet underground in a casket.

Technically you have to first be dead to qualify

When building a highway not far from here some years ago, they had to move a number of graves from the highway's path. While doing so, one casket came open when they were moving it and they saw that the inhabitant had her hands up like she was trying to push the top off of the casket.

I think living in one of those tiny homes would be pretty bad. I have a need to spread out.

Historically speaking, the North European plain. Esp. the eastern front during the world wars. I am grateful my country the USA and its neighbours Canada and Mexico aren't on it. I am also proud that my other favourite countries England, Ireland, and New Zealand (and its bigger neighbour Australia to) aren't on it either.
