You mean your wife knitted for him a bed as tribute, which your new overlord has accepted as a token of your subservience.

Does your new master have a name yet?

LOL, yep that sums it up!

I'm still studying his personality as he gets more comfortable. For now, he's very playful, quite energetic, not greedy at all and doesn't beg for food, doesn't like to be picked up and handled but jumps in my lap by himself or curls against me and enjoys (allows) being petted and scratched behind the ears. I'm considering Dexter :)

Thanks, guys

He is so cute!

I'm thinking there might be some Abyssinian in his lineage. He has the coloring and the body type and it sounds as if he may have the Aby personality, too. He's certainly adorable and sounds like a personable (Purr-sonable) fellow.

They brought me copies of the parents' pedigree (not that I asked) and I couldn't find any Aby there but I know what you mean. They called his colour "chinchilla". He also looks a bit like a fox colour-wise, white on the neck, golden-reddish with dark brown accents on top of the tail, ears and paws.

Yes, he's very affectionate, curious (pretty much took over the house), quite the hunter and fearless. He's already looking to sleep on my clothes and purrs

Yes, I'm in love...

Are you willing to share his name?

If you ever need a kittysitter, just PM.

I tried a few things and he seems to like the sound of Dexter...

What a sweet offer, Isabella :)

It's nice, I used to take care or take in feral and stray cats all the time but lately we decided to spend more time in the city and I really missed having a furry rascal around...

Welcome, Dexter! He certainly is a cutie!

Dexter was the name of one of my cats, C.C., before she came to us. She was a Calico. We gave her a more feminine sounding nickname, C.C. (Calico cat, Christmas Cat, Cute Cat).
