I remember seeing b9's fractal artwork from 2014. Display your artwork pg. 332.

He was a unique and talented individual, truly one of us and he will be sadly missed on WP. I do remember the thread now where he said he expected he'd be around for about another six months and it looks as if he was spot on about that.

I hope he didn't suffer too much at the end as he did experience a great deal of difficulty in breathing. Unfortunately it seems there is little they can do to cure emphysema. 47 is too young to go.

RIP Mark / B9.

Oh, dear, this is so terribly sad----he was so young.

My condolences to his family and friends----his videos and art, and various creative things, will, so, be missed.

Also, my condolences. :(

I actually originally met him on here a very long time ago when I was diagnosed with AS. Though,I no longer accept my AS diagnosis, we remained friends.

If you mean "in person", no we never met in person. We were mainly facebook buddies over the last few years, and email before that.

RIP B9.

Ty, @fuzzbot for informing WP. I recall his videos of him driving his older model Mercedes and of him feeding the birds at his house. Oh, and the french fries supply business he had! Plus he made a geography vid. for me. Smart guy!

I remember him, he was a lovely person.
I’m sorry he’s gone.

he suffered greatly at the end. lesson to be learned for all the rest is to avoid regularly inhaling smoke if at all possible. i wish he had managed to avoid that.

sorry to bump this if doing so annoys or upsets anyone. I was active on wp years ago and then left. recently rejoined but somehow just didn't find the community or intrigue I did the first time around, and have barely posted. but tonight I thought to look for some people whose posts I used to really enjoy. b9 was the first person I thought of, and instead of finding him I found news of his death. very sad to hear this

I never saw this thread until now. I remember b9. I never read about his emphysema, either. At least he's no longer suffering.

i suspect at this point [in heaven] he'd prolly wish us to use this thread to steer others from doing the things that lead to emphysema. he likely would not want others to suffer as he did.
