I Find A Lady Attractive But...

Well. To be honest, it has been a long time for me to find someone I am attracted to. I mean a real human being. But my mind is stuck behind the times a bit, and the young lady is... Oh, I can't tell ages, but at a guess somewhere between 25 and 35? And I am older. So I can't try to get to know her...

I think my mind got stuck in a time warp when I upset my first date when I was about 17 and I didn't recognise her. I was so upset that for years, if a lady asked me out I would say no. (Hence my first date was when I was 36 when a young lady adked me out). My mind seems stuck in that the women my age have all got older, but my mind has not... What do I do? "Grrr", can't life be tough? I mean... I don't know! Just typing aloud some thoughts. :)

Good idea! Just make friends with her.

She may dig you once she gets to know you.
Or you may discover that she is super boring.

Exactly. The last person I went on a date with I had no real romantic expectations and just thought she was a nice person and nothing more. Still married to her!

I can do friendly chatter. :) It is the wanting to go on a date is where I find a little more difficult, bur we shall see. Anyway. No rush. Probably nothing will happen, but there again it could! 8O :D Thanks all for your replies.
