After 4+ decades in mental health I have retired. I find my filter at home needs adjusting. More time with my beloved wife is great. I’m applying for Emeritus Status in October. (That’s the month of Credentialling) 8)

Congratulations on retirement.

I've done some preparations myself, like figuring out how much I really money I need to live on. Turns out I just need $1000/month plus whatever it takes for Health Insurance.

I've also taken advantage of my seniority at work to take most of vacation on the good weather days, so I can play in my garden. I have enough hobbies already to keep me busy all day on days I'm not working.

I can retire in 2022, but I'll make slightly less than I'm making now on disability.

Congrats, Dr Laugh, Emeritus!

I left with 130 hours of unpaid PTO. It was a nice surprise. Also told me I didn’t take much time off.

Thanks all.

Congratulations! I'm hoping you have more time to make Baby Harriet youtube vids. My kids and I liked the one about the Baby Blues.

Thanks all. I haven’t made new videos in a while. Here’s an old one.

Sorry if I'm late, but congratulations, Dr. Laugh!

As for me, I will probably never experience a normal retirement. Not that I want to be inactive by any means.

I am still active with my music and workshop presentations.
