The evening sky it burns so bright
The trees in site, they fade into night

O Queen of the light!
Please hear my plight!
Save us from destruction of a bloody fight!

A war is brewing upon this eve
The earth will bleed, and angels weep.

O King of the trees!
Please hear my plea!
Save us from dying in this war, I beg of thee!

The smoke is rising, the ashes are falling

The sky is burning, the air is chilling

The father is shaking, the mother is crying

Because their children are always fighting...

O Wise Father of strength and courage!
I pray to you!
Protect our fathers, our sons, our brothers
I beg you please!

O Kind Mother of love and mercy!
I pray to you!
Protect our mothers, our sisters, our daughters
I beg you please!
