I cannot tolerate heat at all. The first thing I bought when I was 19 was an air conditioner - what a relief! And still a relief, every time I turn it on.

I think this is a human thing. I dislike the heat, and prefer cool not cold temperatures (40-70 Fahrenheit).

I don't mind heat as long as I stay properly hydrated, but when you throw in humidity the dreaded dew point? I HATE it!

I think part of the problem with heat is there's only so much you can do to cool down, and it seems to only work for a limited amount of time (e.g if you drink a cool drink, you'll feel cooler for a while but eventually get all hot again). I think this changing (on top of sensory stuff) wears me out more than if it was a constant temperature. Whereas with the cold, you can layer up and get to a preferred temperature for longer. But this is just me theorising, I don't know for sure. :)

I definitely feel I have more options when it's cold, but my body also tolerates cold much better. I'm miserable at anything above 25-30 C.
