Do you have any religious or political views that people might consider unusual. I could probably give a few of my own but I was curious about other people. One example as far as myself is I am pro-life but I am in favor of gay marriage as well.

If a terrorist takes over an elementary or nursery school we should never negotiate with them even if it means the deaths of all those children.

Never going to happen though.

I believe most recreational drugs should be legal, but that smoking (marijuana and tobacco) should be outlawed.

Given the choice between an equally qualified man and woman, I'll hire the man as he won't get pregnant and take up to three months off from a job, forcing me to find a sub for the duration (I had to deal with this as a manager once)

I like to dive into details at levels that no one wants to follow on topics that matter to me. It's a bit like I think I can somehow break through socializing as a means of establishing social standing to get it to actual analysis of things we care about, and I'm increasingly discovering that this is a profoundly irrational belief.

I believe in ethical veganism, gender abolitionism and anarcho-communism. Dun dun duuuuun!

I'm also materialist, I don't think free will exists. (unfortunately unusual in American society)

I have lost faith in the politics of politicians
and organisations of organised religions
I no longer see the heroism of heroes
or the authority of authoritarians

i do not want to socialise with the socialites
or spend my life fighting the good fight
In a world where so many don't mean what they say
and even less do what they say they will

I think its best to leave the words behinds
and leave the world of the blind
and concentrate on what truth
there is left to find

I don't vote for red, blue or red, white and blue
nor stars and stripes
or with crosses right the way through

cause all this in the world of the blind
is clan warfare designed to divide
and destroy the unity that really could be
in a world that has lost its track of reality

its humanity
thats reality
what we are left to see
humanity
not profanity
that's is reality

yes i am now a humanitarian

I do not think that being pro-life and in favor of gay marriage is unusual these days, although it would have been in the 1980's.

I used to think I was unusual being in favor of gay rights and legalization of marijuana, back in the 1980's, but now these have or are becoming the law of the land.

Being a moderate might be said to be an “unusual” belief in this Age of Trump.

I am a heretic most fowl , worthy of being burned at the stake by Dems and GOPers alike because....

I don't actually dislike Hillary Clinton.

Though in public I crack jokes at her expense to get along with everyone. But secretely I don't actually despise her.

That, and I like Al Jazeera and miss being able to get it on cable (though I do agree that it should be taken with a well rounded diet of other news sources, both foreign and American).

Edibles are fine as is chewing tobacco. It's infesting the air that I have a problem with.

I used to be for vaping instead of eating or smoking, but now we read about all these injuries from poorly designed vape gadgets. Designed for looks instead of safety.

I agree with the belief that drugs should be legalized and Trump is the Antichrist.
