Often I can't listen to certain types of beautiful music as it makes me cry.
I have just been in tears as I have just been listening to an early Cyndi Lauper song which she sang with such powerful feeling when she was with the band called Blue Angel.
This song was released right after my father died on Christmas Eve. It was played at a memorial commemoration with videos from his life, with Christmas lights and a choir.
I just can't.

Hugsxx. My dad also is in Heaven. He died late at night of the last day of a certain year.

Hugs back to you MG, and to everyone else who posted.
I couldn't stop crying for at least an hour after hearing the Groban song. It's incredible how much music can stir our emotions and change the way we experience life.

What comes to mind are quite a few of those awesome 1970s soft-rock songs. For those who grew-up in the 1970s, in listening to these soft-rock classics, it might bring those "tears to our eyes" when feeling much disappointment over all of the junk these days!
