Why do some people worry about turning 30?

30... Ah... I can't enlarge my screen. Not sure why. Yes. I have been 30. It came and went. I don't remember much about it.

When I was 30, in 1991, I had my first knee surgery.

I also had my last hurrah with a girlfriend I had a few years earlier.

I might have met my next girlfriend that year.

I did lots of "living" AFTER the age of 30.

I'll be 30 next year and still have not accomplished much.

I have yet to find myself my first place of work and my first place of residence where I can live entirely on my own without anyone or anything getting in the way.

I say 30 is the new 20, my 20's were largely crap...but I'm 30 now, no way is that 'the end of the best part of my life' I certainly refuse to accept that. Maybe this is the age I've been waiting for...I always hated being a kid anyways.
