It seems every October I go through an itchy spell. Especially when I strip down to my t-shirt and underwear for bed. The itchyness travles around to different locations. Itchy back, itchy arms and so on and then goes away. Eventually the itchy spells stop altogether.

Am I the only one???? :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:

And please. No one call me Itchy Ezzy.

It's because your skin is dry----because of the change of seasons.

Maybe some aloe lotion, or Shea butter might help you.

(Yes, there is such thing as Shea butter).

I'm allergic to this time of year, because of the spores from the dead or decaying leaves. There is more mould in the air because of plants decomposing and some people get ill. I don't get a reaction in my skin, but rather I develop respiratory ailments from bronchitis to pneumonia. I wonder if you have an allergic dermatitis?

Regardless of the cause, the best lotions for itch are Curel Itch Defense, and CeraVe products. Personally, I think Aveeno is useless. If it's really bad you might need to see your doctor for a hydrocortisone cream.

I usually only feel really itchy in the winter when the air is dry. But the inside of my right ear has been VERY itchy. There's a doctor I used to go to to have my ears checked and cleaned out, but it's been impossible for me to get an appointment with him.

Starting November last year, intermittently itchy.

It was surprising. Itching like scabies. Some wildfires occurred nearby and I went to aikido. Gone to that building a lot of times before. But not itchy before.

Instructor turned on the air conditioner and it was colder than usual but still indoor so whatever

Other things that appear to cause pruritus:.

Weight gain

Sometimes at night (around 8 pm), itchy

Then it suddenly goes away

Dr told me, dove soap and Aveeno moisturizer

Doesn't seem to matter

But it is not, double blind study

Controlled experiment

Do you have any (mild) allergies?

I find I start getting itchy this time of year cuz we start running the heater some & the floor furnace heater dries out my skin. I have problems with skin eczema anyways but the dry air makes it worse.

But I don't want to go among mad people, Alice remarked.
Oh, you can't help that, said the Cat: we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad.
How do you know I'm mad? said Alice.
You must be, said the Cat, or you wouldn't have come here.
