Cenk Uygur asked the Biden campaign after the debate about the impact the bankruptcy bill Biden helped passed had on people being able to discharge their student loans, and what he got was a denial (which wasn't true) and some awkward laughter from them. It was as if you're not supposed to ask about the impact of policy on the American people, instead you're supposed to conceptualize the Presidential race as like a horse race, as some abstract thing you may bet on but don't expect to have any real impact on people's lives. Biden got lots of donations from credit card companies and other creditors, so he supported the bankruptcy bill that benefits creditors:

Cenk says the reason why reporters don't like to ask about policy is because their editors think it's boring to talk about policy; electoral politics is only fun when you treat it like a horse race. But as Cenk says, what they also think is that editors can't give the appearance of being neutral if they ask about the impact policies will have on Americans.

Student debt crisis is absurd.

I watch Dave Ramsey everyday, and people call often, "I am $400,000 in debt with student loans".

That is typically at 6% interest.

There must be huge depression over such crushing debt.
