I always wash up after using the bathroom. I also carry pocket wipes when out on errands, as sometimes the soap dispensers in public rest rooms are empty.

Doesn't everybody wash their hands after using the facilities? If not, why not? I don't want your germs, so stay away from me!

I usually do after I poop....though also depends on the bathroom, some bathrooms are gross enough seems best to just wipe carefully and avoid touching any surfaces in there including the sink you would need for hand-washing.

As for peeing much of the time I don't bother...but according to the O.P its not the pee that contains e coli-bacteria.
