As soon as the novelty of something wears off, I will get bored of it. Anybody else have this problem?

No, I'm quite the opposite. The only time I get bored was when I was at my previous job. Although it was a physical job, I still got bored because it was too repetitive and I had no choice but to be there and do work that didn't interest me.

Being at home is less boring because I am free to do what I want when I want, and there's no pressure or routine. I do have a job but I don't get so bored in this job because it's the type of job where you can use your initiative and the work is rather fun and stressless (if that's a word?) Also my job is evenings, so I have all day to do what I want.

Easily distracted

Lack of interest is a symptom of depression

Depression comorbid with autism

The part of the brain that filters distractions works worse in depression

Boredom is not always a bad thing

Excitement is not always a good thing

Different people find different things interesting

It is not necessary for everything to be "interesting"

Too much excitement is like, adrenal fatigue

Boredom is like obsessive compulsive disorder

Anyways with few exceptions, I find everyone and everything boredom. Especially myself

I don't know how I find time to be bored, but I sometimes do. It's usually when I think I should be doing something outside in good weather but fail to do anything for some reason. I think I had more boredom at your age but don't know how I found the time then either :?
