Employer-based health insurance makes workers dependant on their employer, and gives their employer leverage over them:

This is a big reason why we need Medicare-For-All, and to end the current employer-based system.

Lets say you have Aetna Medicare Part A +B

You still have to pay Aetna the premiums every month, fees, co-pays, or lose your coverage.

So, you're still dependent on employment to get money to make these payments.

Not quite, as the Medicare For All premium/taxes are based on a sliding scale, with no payment if you don't have any money or income (but you would still get the coverage).* Plus, you're not tied to a particular employer once you get a job, and you don't have to worry about network and coverage changes when you go from one job to another. Plus, you can also choose to start a business, without worrying about all the health insurance headaches that would normally entail.

* Under Warren's plan, if I'm not mistaken, you would not have to pay anything for it unless you are very rich.
