There have been no verified cases of kids ever dying from eating Halloween candy from strangers. There was a case where a little boy was poisoned by a Pixy Stick, but the little boy was killed not by a stranger but by his own father.

Many parents worry about taking their kids trick-or-treating these days because of those razor blade myths.

When I was a kid, my mom would make candied apples and give them out. Some neighbors gave out home made fudge. In the old days people used to give out really good stuff, like home made cookies and cake. But thanks to stranger danger we get stupid things like so-called "fun-sized" chocolate bars and Starburst candies that are all pink. No assortment of colors and flavors at all, they were all pink.

When I was younger I once heard on the news on TV that a boy found a razor blade inside of one of his chocolate bars on Halloween. But a few days later he admitted he had inserted the razor himself, and apologized to his parents and everyone else on TV for lying.

I guess his parents then really poisoned his candy after that, but I don't know. I just know they said their son would be "disciplined" for what he had done.

Well, my sister's hairdresser's cousin had a neighbor whose mechanic once heard a story from the mailman about some kids in a neighborhood a few towns over who claimed their pastor had caught a homeless guy doping a watermelon with croton oil just before the 4th of July picnic.

So check that Hallowe'en candy, everybody!

I started hearing about "razor blades" in Halloween candy back about 1970.

Oh so that's what was going on. I was wondering why someone hid the razor blade they gave me in a snickers bar.

I'm evil. When Trick or Treat kids come, I give them...
Licorice candies
Or Korean ginseng candies that smell like a basement full of old potatoes.
I specially save all the weird candies for that day
I'm going to burn in hell.

I just finished watching a video about insane parents and there was an article about an anti-vaxxer mother who gave out lollipops infected with chicken pox (I guess she had her kid with chicken pox lick them or something) and gave them out to make kids immune to it naturally.

If just hearing about anti-vaxxers hasn't given me a brain aneurysm by now, nothing else will. Don't know if the story is really true or not,
