ALOT of time, I feel like a child in an adult body. Do people feel this way too?

In some ways, I still feel like an 8-year old, especially when watching one of those Disney adventure movies (i.e., Iron Man, Star Wars, et cetera). Sometimes I still dream about Christmas of 1965, and relive every happy moment. Then I wake up and it’s 55 years later, and I feel so old.

:( I miss being a kid...

Not really. If anything, in some ways, I feel closer to an older person in a younger person's body.

Uhmm. I feel about 30 years younger at times but it is strange, as just lately (As in the last few years) I have hit burnout several times and this has really hit me hard. I don't know what age I feel since then. I feel physically and mentally fragile. It is hard to describe. Never felt like this in the past.

Sometimes I feel like I'm a kid, sometimes I feel like I'm very old. Never do I feel my actual age. I wish I could be a kid forever... but then I also wish I could age 50 years, it would be nice to actually get all the assistance I need without still living with my parents (most of the assisted living places I've found that would meet my needs are exclusively for the elderly), and I sure wouldn't mind being closer to death, I'm just so darn weary of life.

Yes but strangers often tell me that I look much younger than 36

Nothing accomplished in "life"

No spouse or date

No precious lil "friends"

Only minimum wage jobs and fired

Midlife crisis s**t

And getting old

Itchy a lot of time

Started November 2018 but recently it has been like scabies cold f**k

Exhausted all the time but that is not new

Groin stiff and sore but that could be separate from the old age

Gaining weight

Getting sick a lot

Frequency intensity duration

Never going to accomplish jack s**t

Tastes in food rapidly changing

Back sore

Headache

Bowel movement itchy

Cold all the time s**t

And I am only 36

Rapidly getting worse

I never really grew up. In many ways I am still a big kid.

I essentially permanently feel about twelve years old. Old enough to understand a lot of what's going on around me, but not old enough to be ready to participate in "adult life" yet. It's very difficult trying to figure out how to manage the responsibilities of adulthood when I don't feel like one yet.

Yep. Especially with the amount of looking after I require.

Yes, I feel like I'm still a teenager in an adults body. I always picture myself somewhere around 15 or so(sometimes younger). My biggest dream I can think of is finding a best friend to hangout and have fun with no worries, which is obviously not adult like at all.
I don't think about my future, or career, or college, or anything like that.

I always felt like an old soul in a young body and I now feel like I'm the age I'm supposed to be.

But I relate to Fnord's reminiscing. My Christmasses were in the 80s and when I see tinsel or Christmas trees it takes me right back and I get that excited feeling I did when I opened presents. I've been watching 80s adverts on YouTube and segments from kids shows from the early 90s and I feel just like a kid again. Then the video ends and it's 2020. How did that happen?

I have a lot of trouble navigating grownup problems. I still don’t have my career figured out yet although I’m working on it and have made some progress.

Mentally, I feel like the same person I was when I was 15.

I also look young for me age.
