Simple question about being Gay

I'm not gay myself, but there's something I'm curious about gays.
Why arent they bisexual, and that way, they can enjoy love with both genders which might be better?
I think, bisexuality makes a lot more sense because you dont give up on being straight.
I dont judge anyone, or decide for anyone anything. I just am curious to know, why do gay people choose to be gay, instead of being bisexual.
And bisexuality to me looks like being gay and straight at the same time - a better situation.

People generally do not chose to be gay, straight, or bi. People are attracted to whatever sex they're attracted to. Gay people are gay instead of bi because they are generally only attracted to their own sex.

Yep. Attraction is not chosen. That said, as a bisexual there are times I wish I was just gay because it seems simpler in some ways.

I've never felt a physical attraction towards the opposite sex. It took a long time to accept this wasn't just a phase but one can't just turn on a switch.

really, so much about life is seemingly illogical and makes no sense that one begins to wonder what good being "logical" and "making sense" really is.

i've met more LGBT people in happy relationships than cis people who can say the same.

Because they can't choose, otherwise they would choose to be straight.

So why aren't you bisexual? If you were bisexual, you'd have double the chances of love/relationships.

My two cents worth is that until recently hat's exactly what most homosexuals (especially men) did.But not for the reason you're uggesting. But to be respectable.

Pretend to be straight. Even get married and have kids. In fact even today a gay NT man is more likely to reproduce and have kids than a heterosexual autistic man is. Your spouse is your "beard" (slang for the person who you present to society to look respectable and straight). So they would occasionaly engage in straight sex, but have same sex affairs on the side (so would be outwardly "bisexual").Though inwardly their attraction would be for the same sex.

Some people used to enter into "marriages of convenience" in which they lived together but didn't share the same bed, preferring to do their own thing with their own sex. It was mostly for appearances.
