Valdosta,GA

On an october morning in 2018,Eleanor Holmes and her husband left home to run an errand and found two men at there front gate. They were detectives from Florida and they said they wanted a DNA sample from someone in the family tree to indentify a person who had died many years earlier.

They said they were looking for the persons relatives and wanted to use DNA and genealogical records to stitch together a family tree. They said they already had samples from Eleanor's sister and now they wanted hers,it worried her that someone had died in the family without her knowing it.She had a niece who she hadn't seen in years who was from Orlando,so she agreed.

A few days later she got a frantic call from the girlfriend of one of her sons, and Florida detectives had just arrested him for the murder of a former college aquaintance, via the DNA sample obtained a few days earlier.

Then she realized she had been tricked by those detectives that had taken her DNA a few days earlier,Benjamin Holmes Jr. has plead not guilty to murder.

Maybe if it was the actual defendant in the case, you would need his actual permission or a warrant for DNA sample signed by a judge. But being that the DNA was obtained from a third party, there is likely no way to contest this DNA sample and the way it was gathered.

Plus the DNA was obtained in the state of Georgia which has some of the most conservative appeals courts in the nation both on the state and federal level,Ben Holmes JR is headed to prison for life, his chicken is cooked.
