Illinois called for Biden. He's getting over 60% in both Florida and Illinois.

because the status-quo sucks big wind, and that is what we'll get AT BEST, if biden is elected, and since it is more likely at this point that tuck frump will finally get his landslide [bernie's people are gonna either stay home or vote 3rd party which will swing the election to the present bastard], social security and medicare/medicaid will be killed, the voting rights act will be killed, and who knows what other GOP neo-fascist evils will be rammed through, when trumpy takes his "mandate" and runs with it.

Biden wins Arizona, Florida, and Illinois. Totals so far:

Bloomberg still got about 10% in Florida and Arizona even though he's dropped out.

(I think Biden is personally irrelevant now. All the action will be about his VP, who will be assumed to be the person that is really being voted-for in the general election.)

Poll: 15% of Sanders supporters will vote for Trump if Biden is nominee; 80% would back Biden

If former Vice President Joe Biden secures the Democratic presidential nomination, 15% of Sen. Bernie Sanders' supporters will vote for President Donald Trump's reelection, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

If accurate, that would represent a slightly larger defection than occurred after the bitter battle between Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2016, when 12% of Sanders voters broke for Trump in the general election.

There are still primaries going on. Bernie dropped out long ago but he still got 37% in Hawaii.

Joe Biden wins Hawaii presidential primary delayed by virus

HONOLULU - Joe Biden won the Democratic Party of Hawaii’s party-run presidential primary on Saturday, which was delayed by more than a month because of the coronavirus.

Biden defeated Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders 63% to 37%.

Biden won 16 of Hawaii's delegates and Sanders will take eight. Biden has a total of 1,566 delegates to the party’s national convention, according to the count by the Associated Press. He needs 1,991 delegates to win the nomination, a threshold he is projected to reach in June.

A total of 35,044 voters cast ballots in the party-run primary. All ballots were cast by mail.

Joe Biden sweeps all seven presidential primaries

Quote:
Joe Biden has scored a clean sweep of the seven states conducting Democratic presidential primaries on Tuesday, not at all a surprise given that the presumptive Democratic nominee has no active opposition.

Yet the delegate haul is important to Biden’s goal of gaining enough delegates to claim the Democratic nomination before the party’s summer convention. Tuesday’s results may leave Biden just short of the 1,991 delegates he needs, but primaries next week in Georgia and West Virginia could put him over the top.

Of Tuesday’s elections, Pennsylvania’s could add the most delegates to Biden’s count. He also won contests in Maryland, Indiana, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Montana and South Dakota.

Also choosing a nominee Tuesday are voters in the District of Columbia.

Those results are pending.
