Here we go.

This thread is meant for discussion of the primary election results as they come in through the season, rather than for general politics. (It can run up to the nominating conventions when the parties select their nominees.)

Today is "Super Tuesday" when 13 (?) states hold their party primaries. It's now 6:30 p.m. on the east coast, so the first results should be coming in soon.

The best place for factual tracking of polls and results is: https://www.realclearpolitics.com

Just came back from casting my vote at the local Congregational church, so I've done my duty until November.

First polls close at 7pm eastern in Vermont and Virginia.

This is also a good factual site to find out what exactly is on each party and local ballot: https://ballotpedia.org/Main_Page

It's 14 states that hold primaries today: Alabama, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Maine, Massachusetts, Minnesota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, and Virginia.

And Sanders is now forecast to take his home state of Vermont, as expected.

One to watch will be whether Warren wins her home state of Massachusetts. If she loses to Sanders in her home state, she's done. Polls close there at 8pm eastern.

Biden forecast to take North Carolina. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/

Bernie will likely do very poorly in the South.

I voted at the local church, too. My church had sugar cookies after voting. What did yours have?

No cookies, just the usual "I Voted" sticker.

Biden forecast to win Oklahoma.

Biden now way ahead in the delegate counts, which is kind of what matters, but all kinds of funky stuff happens at the convention so delegate counts don't always matter either.

No cookies?

The last time we had brownies, if I remember correctly.

Before that, donuts.

Not a good night for Bernie in Arkansas. Looks like MissLizard didn't register enough people at the local cemetery...

Embarrassing for Warren to say the least. She should drop out tonight.

Biden had Massachusetts, which contradicts earlier polls.

Sanders leading Texas and California but polling data has proved inaccurate do far.

Sanders 284,439 27.3
Warren 215,959 20.7
