I'm a fan of Pokemon. I had a Pokemon edition game boy color, I like to watch Pokemon and I'm getting Mystery Dungeon blue with my DS.

I liked the first and second genre. After that they made the same pokemons again with different names to add for some reason... Tailow = Sparrow

Promotion, my friend, promotion. There'd be no point buying the new game if there wasn't anything to gain from it. You could build awesome new battle systems and lose the "elite four" in favour of competitions against other players and NPCs, but nobody will buy into it unless you say "1,000 new pokemon!"

I agree... it's just the same old crap, rehashed.

My game, on the other hand, will throw out a lot of the old conventions, such as turn-based battling, 4 move attackset limit, and the outdated "Elite Four" system... ugh. Also out the door is Power Points for individual attacks.

I'll have a forum set up soonish for anybody interested in assisting with development, I'll post about it when its ready.

Yes. Ofc there should be more pokemon. But the recreation idea destroyed it all. Giving that tailow an extra element and some uncuie traits shouldn't be that f*****g hard as there's 500+ fake, but unqie pokemon out there.
It's a pity they didn't keep the night and day though. It gave some challenge to find them. I think they could have added wheaters for different days too to push even more pokemon into the same areas.

How many pokemon games are out on 3-D? Geez -.-/

You know what would be cool? An online pokemon MMORPG game. Everyone would run around and interact and catch pokemon. And when I meant online gaming, I meant on the computer.

Yeah, it would be awesome. It didn't even need to be good grafics to be fun. The first generation grafics would do just fine for me. it should be a badge system though, so you can only go so some areas with the right badge, and can only challenge people with the same bag rank or higher (so you don't constantly get challenged by someone with a lv 80 mewtwo when you have a lv 7 starter).

Yeah, and not one of them is an actual pokemon game - just a lame spin-off.

Though there is one out there for the PC - you really have to look for it, and I'm not sure it's in active development any more.

There are many out there, I'm working on one myself. What I'm looking at is real time battling, as many attacks as you want, and a pokemon league where you battle other players, not the elite four.

Say! I have extra reigon Ideas, and If abandoning the Pokéball won't hurt, I have a new capturing device idea, and the suggestion of choosing your trainer path. (Like the job system of FF3-5)

I would love it if it wasn't 3-D, as I perfer travelling with my DS :D I would be in heaven! First I have to save up for Pokemon Diamond though...

Man, I love pokemon. Didn't they come out with a 3D version for Gamecube?
I wish you could fly anywhere instead of riding the stupid bike. Has anyone read the manga Pokemon Special?
