I've heard about that. I think it's a bedouin wedding dish: whole grilled camel stuffed with a whole grilled sheep stuffed with several grilled chickens that are stuffed with hard-boiled eggs. Or something along those lines. It's a barbecue matrjosjka-doll. 8)

I was going to eat one, but then I heard camels are high in cholesterol.

Camels are bad tempered and will spit on you.

Camels are possible carriers of MERS, that cause mild disease to camels but can kill you.

I wouldn’t touch one.

Actually there are entire countries/communities that can’t live without bat meat:

According to the news, SARS-CoV-2 will start dying at 56 C, and a few minutes at 75 C will kill it completely. So properly cooked, bats, camels and other carriers should be safe to eat actually. (Of course there is the part about catching or breeding them, slaughter and dealing with the raw product from slaughter to preparing the meal, but anyway, in theory it can be safely done.)

Personally, I think I'll pass.
